2 days Essaouira and Marrakech from Agadir
Day 1: Agadir to Marrakech via Essaouira:
Our trip begins with an early morning pickup from Agadir, 7am before heading to Essaouira. The Portuguese city has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Morocco since 2001. On the way to Essaouira, we first made a few stops to see flying goats (goats climbing argan trees).
Then our second stop is a Berber village to rest and have a delicious coffee or mint tea, and your last stop is to visit an argan oil factory. Upon arrival in Essaouira, begin your tour from the medina souk with a local guide and take a walking tour of the ramparts. At the Kasbah and La Scala, explore the walls of La Scala. Then visit the port of Essaouira.
After the visit, you will have free time for lunch, shopping and enjoying the beauty of the city. Around 4:00 p.m., continue your journey to Marrakech for a night in a 4-star hotel. (The hotel is included in the rate with breakfast on the 2nd day). Discover the nightlife of Marrakech.
Day 2: Return to Agadir after the city tour of Marrakech.
After breakfast, head straight from your hotel to the Majorelle Gardens for a 1-hour tour.
Then join a 3-hour walking tour around the city with a local guide to explore the historical monuments of Marrakech. Starting from the famous Bahia Palace, stroll through the Jewish quarter and discover the Saadian tombs. Not only the gardens of the Koutoubia Mosque, but also the famous Djemaa El Fana square at the end.
Then, enjoy some free time to stroll around and explore the souks (local markets). And find a good place to eat. After lunch, meet your driver and return to your hotel in Agadir.
